What it does
A plan the schedulers can trust.
Who uses it
- Schedulers
- Service coordinators
- Engineering managers
Jobs come in readyOpen jobs are pulled from the job system every night. Anything still waiting on parts or information stays out of the queue until it can be done.
Rules built inA day is eight hours, the trade grade has to fit, safety tickets are checked, and an engineer works in one area per day.
Auto-schedule, with a sayIt proposes the week for the scheduler to accept or reject, keeps preferred engineers, and explains anything it couldn't place.
Status that closes the loopJobs move from scheduled to in progress to complete. A job that isn't finished goes back to the queue with the hours still needed, and leave shows on the plan.
